The Magic of Live Events

Welcome to The Spark Show! In this episode, I’ll be covering:

We just had our third annual The Spark Summit event here in Los Angeles. We had a VIP Day with an intimate group where we did masterminding for the morning, had lunch then did a photoshoot at Santa Monica Pier/Beach to get content. We also had dinner. Then the next day, we had a day of speakers and more masterminding - everyone had massive breakthroughs, we even had some tears. Then for the last day, we did a photoshoot at 29 Rooms and then ended it on Abbot Kinney in Venice with more photos and we had some sponsors provide us with food and drinks! 

Why it’s so important to go to live events

1) To be around like-minded people 

It’s so important to go to live events to be around like-minded people who are in a similar journey as you. Having a community and support system is essential to success. 

2) To see what’s possible

When you see people who are doing what you want to do and achieving success, you give yourself proof and evidence that it’s possible. Sometimes we get in our own way and we need to see what others are doing to encourage us to keep going. 

3) To get inspired and motivated

It’s normal to feel stuck or uninspired. No one is ever 100% inspired and creative all the time. When you to go live events, you feel the energy of the community and you see what’s possible, it inspires you and you feel reinvigorated and motivated. 

What you should consider when choosing which live events to go to 

Here’s what you should consider when choosing which live events to go to:

• What type of live event is it? Where is it gonna be? 
• What’s the cost of the event? What other expenses? 
• Who’s going to be there? Who is speaking? 
• What’s the format of the event? 
• What is your goal for the event? What outcome are you looking for? 

The #1 thing that most successful people do 

Most successful people have a group of people that they go to, whether that’s a coaching program, a networking group, a mastermind - where they can ask for help, offer help, and have others help them see past their blind spots. 

We all have blind spots, that’s why everyone needs a coach or mentor to help them see what they don’t see. That was a big takeaway from everyone at the event, was that they need to invest in mentoring to keep going and to propel them forward.
